Since 2005, IBAM has run thematic Summer Schools in which large numbers of students participate in a full-immersion week of teaching and laboratory work guided by highly qualified specialists from Italian and foreign universities. Through comparison with the most innovative national and international research and the use of study cases, the School provides an important moment of learning and the ideal place for the exchange of ideas and for discussion of the most recent knowledge on artisan productions in the Hellenistic and Roman worlds.
